Hafiz Awais Zafer

Assalam o Alaikum, I am Hafiz Awais Zafer (Awaisiiii for my closer ones). I am currently Studying in BSS Multan completing my A levels. Life has never been easy since I stepped into my O levels couple of years back. That’s when you have to tell yourself that things will get better. There are times when people disappoint you and let you down but the best thing is to keep evolving yourself into a Valuable Diamond. And that’s what I did!

Persuing Dreams and to set my priorities have always been my key rule, and my parents were always there to support me. Back in 2014 I stepped into the realms of MUNs (Actually a friend of mine Moiz Sial pushed me into). A dream of bringing this culture of MUNning in the city of saints ignited into my heart right after the Day 1 of my very first MUN. Being an Ordinary delegate and receiving no awards consecutively in the first two MUNs, Yes I was ridiculed and they did mocked me but It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.

This April 2016, I founded Multan Model United Nations Association which Held, in July, Its First Internationally Endorsed, and Privately Organized MUN in the City of Saints, Multan Open Model United Nations, and Served as its first Secretary General. I had never even envisaged that I, a pigeon-hearted boy who could barely utter a word in front of more than three people couple of year ago, would one day bring into reality a conference that has been only mentioned in the Myths- MOMUN. The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach, and the Craze for MUNs took me way too ahead of my first two MUNs. The Number being increased to 13 MUNs, I’ve managed to bag a lot of resentment, detestation and along with that Numerous Awards and ending up organizing an MUN of my own.

I am currently working with the Youth General Assembly Pakistan, Serving as the President of its Multan Chapter.
Be open to the possibilities in your own life and career. Don’t rule out any options too soon. There are no right or wrong answers. Don’t let anyone convince you that you should be pursuing a dream career. Or that you should give up and get a “real job”. You need to find work that’s a good fit for you personally.
